Serving Jackson For Over a Century

David Griffus

Jason Holmes

Opened in 1914, the Jackson Coney Island has served the Jackson community and survived the Great Depression, two World Wars, and 17 U.S. Presidents. After suddenly closing in May 2015, the restaurant was purchased by childhood best friends and Jackson natives David Griffus and Jason Holmes, who have vowed to make the Jackson Coney Island better than ever. The JCI's goal is to provide the Jackson community with great service and great food at a great price, all while making a positive social impact through philanthropy and creating local jobs.
